TERMS & CONDITIONS

CONDITIONS-NOT ENTITLED FOR WARRANTY

1. The infusion of substances, whether liquid, solid, or gas, excluding air or nitrogen.
2. Tyres with road hazard damage, including:
3. Cuts
4. External injuries
5. Impact breaks
6. Punctures (both repairable and non-repairable)
7. Damages resulting from incorrect mounting or demounting, improper wheel alignment, and unbalanced wheels.
8. Uneven or accelerated wear can occur due to mechanical irregularities in the vehicle, including wheel misalignment, improper wheel usage, mechanical failures such as malfunctioning shocks, struts, alignment issues, or balancing problems. Additionally, contact with vehicle components like fenders, the exhaust system, or springs may lead to damage to the under-tread, carcass, or steel belts in radial or nylon breakers in bias tyres.
9. Installed on vehicles that are overloaded, operated at high speeds, or have improper inflation—whether under-inflated or over-inflated—can lead to significant issues.
10. Tyres that have not been installed following the technical recommendations provided by the company, which may be updated periodically, or that have not received the suggested care and maintenance.
11. Damage resulting from accidents, fires, chemical explosions, alterations, or vandalism.
12. Tyres with exposed ply/cords, repaired or retreaded.
13. Ride disturbance after the first 25% of usable tread-wear or due to damaged wheels or any vehicle condition.
14. Tyres exhibiting significant uneven wear or misalignment (MAL) wear.
15. Defects Caused by Environmental Factors
16. Climatic conditions
17. Ozone exposure
18. Improper storage
19. Tyres acquired from unauthorized or second-hand vendors.
20. Long Storage of new vehicles with tyres mounted on, which may cause a flat spot on tyre.
21. OTR/Agriculture/Industrial Tyres operating in excess of their rated TKPH(Tonne-Kilometer-Per Hour) factor or WCF(Work Capability factor)
22. Alternate Lug Wear /Irregular Tread Wear in Farm tyres due to prolonged usage of Tractor with trolley in Haulage application.
23. The warranty is restricted solely to manufacturing defects, as outlined in the warranty statement.
24. This warranty applies exclusively within India. In case of any dispute, the courts of Ludhiana have jurisdiction to settle such disputes.
25. The company retains the right to alter or amend the terms and conditions of the aforementioned warranty policy without any obligation or prior notice.
26. Tyres worn beyond tread wear indicator.

DISCLAIMER

• The warranty does not cover compensation for any direct or indirect losses, damages resulting from tire failure, or expenses related to tire mounting, demounting, alignment, balancing, and similar services.
• This warranty applies solely to the product in question. If the tire is accepted as a warranty claim, the companion tire or any other components of the vehicle will not be eligible for warranty coverage.
• The products submitted for a warranty claim will continue to be the property of the owner or consumer, and the Company will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to these products.
• No representative, employee, or dealer/ distributor has the authority to make or imply any representation, promise or agreement on behalf of the Company, which in any way varies the terms of this Warranty.
• The company retains the right to change or modify the terms and conditions of the aforementioned warranty policy without any obligation to provide notice.

WARRANTY PERIOD  

• The tire warranty is valid only for the original owner of the product.
• The tire or tube in question will be assessed by Service personnel or authorized staff, and a decision will be made during the inspection.
• The findings of warranty claims conducted by company service staff or qualified authorized personnel will be considered final and binding.
• Warranty Period does not represent the expected service life of tyres covered under this warranty as the tyre life is variable and is dependent on many factors such maintenance of proper inflation pressure, vehicle maintenance practices (such as wheel alignment/balancing, tyre rotation & overall vehicle conditions) driving habits, road & operating conditions (terrain etc).
• This is not a representation or warranty that a product cannot or will not suffer non-repairable damage or fail during service, including, without limitation, due to punctures, snags, cuts, bruises, or impact breaks caused by road hazards. Products can and do experience non-repairable damage and service failures from such road hazards, as well as from other contributing factors. It is your responsibility to ensure the proper use, maintenance, and timely removal of products from service.
• Any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration and terms of this express warranty and are otherwise fully disclaimed. No other warranty or representation of any kind is made by the company, nor shall any be implied by law.
• All Products manufactured and/or sold by the Company are warranted against failure on account of any manufacturing defects (defective material/manufacturing/faulty workmanship) until the exposure of the Tread Wear Indicator (TWI) or the warranty period for the particular category of Product as prescribed in the table above, whichever is earlier. The original tread life of a Product ends when the tyre tread has worn down to the TWI, at which point the Product is considered fully worn out and rendered full service.
• Any complaint shall be subject to a thorough inspection by the Company’s authorized personnel. Post inspection, if the Company’s authorized personnel ascertains that there is a defect in the Product and if the Product is found to have failed due to manufacturing defect (defective material/manufacturing/faulty workmanship), the Product will be replaced on a pro-rata basis based on the Tread Wear Indicator. The price applicable for working out the amount payable on pro-rata basis will be as applicable on the date of exchanging the new tyre on pro-rata replacement.
• In case where the exact claimed tyre is not available for replacement during the warranty period due to any reason, suitable product with available appropriate size/ pattern will be offered as replacement during warranty period. The price difference applicable for the replaced Product shall be borne by the Consumer.
• This Warranty does not provide compensation for any applicable taxes on the new Product or for any indirect damages including but not limited to service charges incurred, charges of mounting/demounting, balancing of wheel, loss of time or loss of use of vehicle, inconvenience or consequential damage in so far as the law permit.
• The Products rejected for warranty claim if not collected within twenty-one days of intimation, will be disposed off in the Company’s sole discretion. Thereafter, the Company and its authorized dealer/ distributor will not be liable for any loss thereof.
• All Consumer complaints may be registered through Faucon Tyres Customer Care at 98781-64944 or Consumers can also write to us on E-mail: faucon@faucontires.com or can reach to the nearest Faucon Tyres authorized dealer/distributor with the necessary proofs like vehicle registration certificate, OEM’s ancillary job letter, OEM’s pre-delivery inspection report, etc. (any one document is must for validation and complaint verification), warranty form and original proof of purchase of invoice. Consumer’s may ask that the Products are physically submitted to the Company’s sales office along with the warranty number given at the time of warranty registration / original equipment manufacturer (“OEM”) invoice along with OEM docket letter in case of OEM fitted tyres/invoice copy duly stamped by the Company’s authorized dealer/Company copy of dealer docket letter/digital docket reference number.

PRODUCT CATEGORY	WARRANTY PERIOD
Truck/Bus Bias/ Radial Tyres	For a duration of 1 year from either the date of manufacture or the date of invoice (proof of purchase is necessary), or until the tyre tread reaches the Tread Wear Indicators (TWI), whichever occurs first, regardless of the distance travelled.
LCV Tyres (Bias & Radial)	For a duration of 1 year from the date of manufacture or the date of invoice (proof of purchase is necessary), or until the tyre tread is worn down to the Tread Wear Indicators (TWI), whichever comes first, regardless of the distance travelled.
Passenger Car tyres (Bias & Radial)	For a duration of 1 year from the date of manufacture or the date of invoice (proof of purchase is necessary), or until the tyre tread reaches the Tread Wear Indicators (TWI), whichever comes first, regardless of kilometres driven.
SCV Tyres (Bias & Radial)	The warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of manufacture or the date of invoice (proof of purchase is necessary), or until the tyre tread reaches the Tread Wear Indicators (TWI), whichever occurs first, regardless of the distance travelled.
Farm tyres	Effective April 2021, for a duration of 1 year from the date of manufacture or invoice (Proof of purchase is necessary), or until the tire tread is worn smooth, whichever occurs first, regardless of the kilometres driven.
OTR tyres (Replacement& OE only)	The warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of manufacture or the date of the invoice (proof of purchase is necessary), or until the tyre tread has a remaining non-skid depth of 3mm, whichever occurs first, irrespective of the hours or kilometres driven.
All tubes (Truck & LCV)	Faucon Tyre Tubes come with a warranty of 1 year from the date of manufacture, regardless of the distance travelled.s

WARRANTY STATEMENT

• Every effort is dedicated by the company to ensure the utmost standard of excellence in both materials and craftsmanship. However, the company will not be held liable for any claims, whether arising from contract or tort, for any injury, loss, or damage inflicted on any individual or property resulting from the use of any company product.
• Without detracting from the previous paragraph, Faucon tyres and tubes are guaranteed against manufacturing defects stemming from any issues related to design, manufacturing, materials, or workmanship. Tyres approved for warranty claims will be replaced based on pro-rata wear, determined by the percentage of tread worn, using measurements of the remaining tread depth.

Warranty claim findings made by Faucon Tyre Technical Service Personnel or Trained and Authorized Personnel would be final and binding to all concerned.
